Livestock Theft – Drayton
/in News /by ClerkDear Resident,
We have received a report that 17 young lambs have been stolen from farmland near to Drayton, Worcestershire. The incident occurred overnight from Friday 11th April to Saturday 12th April 2024. The animals were only around 3 weeks old and would have still required feeding by the ewes. It’s highly unlikely that a farmer would move the stock around in hours of darkness or in any vehicle other than an agricultural transport vehicle or stock box. Please be vigilant in our rural communities, if you see suspicious activity around cattle or livestock, please contact us or if you know them, the farmer. You can report incidents to police at Report | West Mercia Police or in an emergency, by calling 999.
